Roadmap for Progress’s mission is to promote fairness, boldness and unity in American politics by helping to elect a diverse field of progressive candidates who embody these values. Their focus is on promoting and supporting new candidates on their progressive road to election.

Building Bridges for America is an active nationwide all-volunteer grassroots group determined to use their grassroots skills, networks, and passions to work for progressive candidates from the White House to local communities across the country. There are no days off, they work every day to provide programs for volunteers to continue the hard work of progress.

South Shore Young Democrats are thrilled to announce our endorsement of long time member Justin Evans for the Whitman Board of Selectmen. In addition to being a member of the South Shore Young Democrats, Justin is also an active member of the Whitman Democratic Town Committee and a current Selectman for the town of Whitman. During his time as a Selectman, Justin has worked to modernize Whitman municipal government, achieve income equity for non-union municipal employees, and help prepare Whitman for the imminent climate change challenges. Justin is a dedicated and hardworking public servant and we are excited for his next term on the Whitman Board of Selectmen!

Courage To Change Policy Pledge Distinction

The Courage to Change PAC, founded by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, announced that Justin Evans has been awarded their ‘Policy Pledge Distinction.’ This distinction was awarded to ONLY 37 local and state candidates across the country based on the successful completion of an interview process, which asked candidates to make a range of policy commitments
